Medicine and allied health

MBBS and BDS through NEET, alongside nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, lab technology and other allied routes.

Where it leads

Can you change your mind later?

MBBS is a long commitment and hard to redirect midway. Allied health degrees are shorter, admit more widely and lead into clinical work, public health and overseas employment.

The mistake families make here

Treating the whole field as MBBS or nothing. Nursing and allied health have strong outcomes, real shortages and a fraction of the competition, and nobody tells a student this at the moment they need to hear it.

Where students are usually competitive

NEET competition is severe regardless of board marks; allied routes admit far more widely. Government medical seats are inexpensive; private and management seats run into tens of lakhs.
